The House of Kong is committed to creating spaces where queer and trans communities can gather, create and thrive.
Through performance and education, the house supports emerging artists while preserving and celebrating the cultural power of ballroom and chosen family.

The House Of Kong have a heavy presence in Queer Youth programming, working alongside organizations such as The Minus18 Foundation, Brimbank City Council and The Art Gallery Of South Australia to deliver programming tailored toward queer artistic expression for teens between the ages of 12-21.

We support emerging queer and trans artists through work experience, employment, creative developments, legal advice/aid and tailored professional guidance.

We create inclusive nightlife, cultural gatherings and alcohol-optional social spaces that prioritise safety and accessibility.
The House of Kong continues to build strong community engagement through workshops, performances and cultural programs that celebrate identity, creativity and belonging.
